I would thoroughly recommend Port Chalmers School to anyone who wants their child to have an all round education from Year 1 right through to year 8. Along with a sound education via the curriculum the children get fantastic out of class experiences. How great it is to be able to go boating on Mussel Bay on warm summer days, or have camps where the children get to have experiences that they may not otherwise have. I have put all 3 of our children through this school and thought highly enough of it to eventually be employed there. I am fortunate enough to see this school from both sides of the fence as it were, and I believe you would have to search far and wide to find a more dedicated bunch of people who will go eyes out for their pupils.
